FuryShield Birthday gift 2015: Kindred Spark

Every Friendship Starts...With the Spark of a Kindred Spirit...

So...I feel that I need to explain what happened here

Okay so first, this is a late birthday gift for one of my best friends  We've known each other since high school and we've been best friends ever since.  Though it was a while before we found each other again, I'm so glad that we did. ^^  Like the messages says, it was what we enjoyed that started our friendship.  We both loved playing video games and when I started a group for gaming after school, he jumped right in with me on that crazy adventure.  

So, what is this scene being shown here you ask?

Well, this is actually going to make more sense to Fury than it will to anyone else (Which was what I was going for, but I'll go ahead and explain a little here.)  The two characters here are characters that we use in SLC.  The white glowing wolf is Story Wolf, which is my character.  And the coal red eyed cat is Sterling, which is Fury's character.  A while back we started an rp with just the two of us, showing how these two met in the SLC world.  In one scene, Story showed Sterling how she could create a flower using her abilities and then later on, Sterling shows that he was able to do something similar.  The symbolic part about this is this.  Story's powers are more of a spiritual/psychic nature, while Sterling's is with technology as he is a Nanitan.  This actually is very close to how each of us sees the world from our respective characters.  This ended up being one of my most favorite scenes in the rp that we did so far and I think that it is what represents our friendship as well as the friendship of our characters the best. ^^

Now for the style I went with...

This style was something that I came up with after watching a let's play of the game Ori and the Blind Forest (Amazingly visual game kind of reminds me of Child of Light, which I also love.  I definitely recommend it and I want to play it myself so badly lol) And I loved the art style that I kind of incorporated it into the design of the chibi style here.  So this style is kind of a mix of Chibi, Decal, and Flash Paint Simulation.
